Db2 for z/OS: REST and Hybrid Cloud Wildfire Workshop – Coppell, TX

IBM will host an in-person Db2 for z/OS: REST and Hybrid Cloud Wildfire Workshop March 28, 2023.

This event will be both presentation and hands-on labs.

Objective:
This free workshop enables customers to gain an understanding of how to leverage Db2 Native REST services in a hybrid cloud environment through the use of RESTful APIs. Attendees will be provided with a cloud-based virtual lab environment to learn how quickly and easily RESTful APIs can be created using z/OS Connect and mapped to Db2 Native REST services.

The course includes lecture and labs.

Lab Exercises:
Lab Exercise 1 – Creating Db2 Native REST Services using Postman (SQL Statement or Stored Procedure).
Lab Exercise 2 – Creating z/OS Connect APIs & Managing Services. Testing API with Swagger and Postman.

Audience:
The audience is Architects, Database Administrators, Application Developers, and other decision influencers interested in creating RESTful APIs using Db2 for z/OS SQL statements and stored procedures.
